On Tuesday, November 20, 2001, I arrived in Dallas at the apartment of my brother, Mike. His complex, Wedglea, is 11 stories and one of the few tall buildings (more than two stories) in the area. His apartment is on the seventh floor. It is a pretty building. You won't be seeing many pictures of the interior of his apartment for much the same reason that you didn't see many pictures of the interior of my apartment. However, I will say that after living in my cars for over two months, I found his apartment very spacious, uncluttered, and neat. Entance to Wedglea Apartment. Front View of Wedglea Apartments.
Wednesday morning Mike went for an exercise walk with his Tibetan Buddhist teacher, Lamala Dudjom Dorjee (normally just called Lamala which means spritual friend). After the walk we all had breakfast at a very nice homie restaurant, Norma's. It was very good. Next morning was Thanksgiving and we picked up Lamala and his family to head out and see my mom in Denton. On the right is a picture of Lamala's house with Lamala, his wife Tacho, his daughter, Tashi Dolkar, and my brother Mike (with better pictures of each to follow). Norma's Restaurant. In Denton, we picked up a computer part from a computer and spiritual friend, Robert. Then we were off to my mom's (Bertha's) home in the retirement community, Good Samaritan, in Denton, TX. Here is the back entrance to her duplex with Lamala Mike's car, a Toyota Previa. Mike's friend, Robert. Mom's House.
