There was a cool reflecting pool (above). One the second afternoon I took a second group of kids shown here. Virginia Tech had a impressive autditorium (shown below) but it was a bit of a walk from the main campus. Dixie Caverns, VA. =0=

Each evening they had live concerts and such in the auditorium (above). As we shwitched to Virginia Tech with short notice, there were several other things going on, lots of visiting students due to start in the fall. As a result hardly any of the dorms we stayed in were air conditioned. The weather was pretty moderate so that wasnt too bad, but may have impacted people when they were planning (and deciding not to). Above and here is the dorm I stayed in.
