As I was at the retreat, I had no chance to unload the pictures from the memory card. After most of a week, I got card full errors (though I don't think it was full, just that it thought it was full due to another error) and so took my last few pictures on the camera's internal memory. However, when I was uploading them, they were named differently and I didn't get them into the flow. So, here are the bonus pictures from the retreat. This is Luz. She and her husband Randy arrived mid-week. They are from Mexico where Luz teaches hatha yoga. We were all feeling sore from a vigorous walk the day before and so she led a magical session that was lots of stretching, not very strenuous, just what we needed. Luz. =0=

Just outside of Discovery (the kitchen and dining area) was a field with gorgeous blue bonnets in bloom. Sometimes Bluebunny is at the height of the blue bonnets and sometimes not. This year we were lucky and they were gorgeous. One of the afternoon discussion sessions was a lesson in Tango by Connie. Below are pictures of Kay and Larry as the practiced the Tango at our discussion group. ;-) Blue bonnets. =0=

The day after Lamala hurt his leg, they switched his direction on the sofa so that he could easily have his leg higher than his heart (as recommended to control swelling) and still give us his teachings (above). There was a road between Discovery (where we ate) and Horizon where Lamala gave the teachings and it had been washed out pretty badly with a rut that was about eight inches deep with a sharp fall off. Early in the week one of my projects had been to help them collect wood and kindling so I would carry a log or two each time I went between the buildings (scavenging wood left by previous users of the camp). However, later it warmed up and we didn't need fires and so had plenty of wood. My next project was to carry rocks to fill in the rut in the road (at least the worst of it). Sadly I did not take a before picture to show how bad it had been, but here is end result. Blue Bunny 2009 Retreat. =0=

There was one really big rock that I carried (at least partially when I rolled it) into place. My brother Michael took pictures of me with that rock (actually it was one of the first rocks which I placed and in the deepest hole and then filled in around it, but these pictures were posed with the big rock already in place).
