The countryside was also much more open (though still pretty dry) though the towns remained quite congested. In one town there was a long delay as there was a cement divider between lanes and a bus had broken down in our lane. We had to go about a block in the opposing lane and that lane was not wide enough for two buses to pass. We waited until the bus in front of us (below) could pull into that lane and then traffic switched directions as a line of traffic developed on the other side of the obstruction.
