Above is the standard group shot from the larger hikes. Next to that is a picture of me putting on my gloves. Here is a picture of the beautiful sky and snow in the trees. On the way down we took a short cut down the path for the power lines. It was way steep and a good chance to really appreciate the snow. Spruce Bog Trail, Grafton , NY. =0=

After that we crossed Long Pond. Some people were ice fishing. At the far side of the pond we went up the bank to join the trail around the pond. Spruce Bog Trail, Grafton , NY. =0=

As we took the trail back to the parking area we encountered a mother and child in a sled being pulled by dogs. They weren't inclined to leave the trail for the lake so I helped lead them the way she wanted (as you can see). Spruce Bog Trail, Grafton , NY. =0=

The Grafton Lake State Park where we here trekking was having a winter fair. There was a fan powerd sleigh (?) on the pond and a horse drawn wagon. Spruce Bog Trail, Grafton , NY. =0=
